Angela White, widely regarded as the most recognizable adult entertainer in the world, has opened up about how money really works in the modern adult industry — and which kind of scenes pay the most.
Now 39, Angela has been active in the p,o,r,n industry since she was 18 and says she’s seen the business completely reinvent itself. What once revolved around DVDs and studios has now shifted almost entirely online, with platforms like OnlyFans permanently changing the rules.
According to Angela, that shift has been a game-changer — especially for performers.
How OnlyFans Changed Everything
During the pandemic, when traditional shoots were no longer possible, Angela turned seriously to OnlyFans.
Speaking on the Life Uncut Podcast, she explained that lockdown forced her to rethink how she worked:
“I was stuck at home and couldn’t shoot the way I normally do. I still wanted to express my s,e,xuality and earn a living, so I leaned into OnlyFans.”
Instead of large productions, she focused on solo content, live shows, and direct fan interaction — all from home. The result? A new level of independence and financial stability.
Today, Angela is in the top 0.01% of creators on OnlyFans, a platform where income can be massive — though she’s quick to point out that not everyone earns millions.
“Not everyone in the top 0.01% is making seven million dollars in two months,” she said. “But it’s still really good money.”
Being Your Own Boss
Angela believes OnlyFans has reshaped the adult industry by giving performers full control over their work.
“Every performer is now a content creator,” she explained. “You own your content, and that means long-term, passive income. That never really existed before.”

When asked how earnings differ depending on the type of content, Angela was refreshingly honest.
While she insists money has never been her main motivation, she admitted that more labor-intensive scenes tend to pay more.
“There are certain acts that require a lot more preparation,” she said. “More prep time equals more money.”
She joked that one specific type of scene pays extra not because of the act itself — but because of what she has to give up beforehand.
“You’re not paying me extra for that,” she laughed. “You’re paying me not to eat. And I love eating.”
