The revelation hit me like a punch to the gut. « My office? » I repeated, stunned.
« Yes, » the operator confirmed. « Is there anyone who might have access to your computer there? »
I thought of the shared computers in the break room, the open office layout where anyone could have slipped in unnoticed. « I’ll have to investigate, » I replied, trying to keep my voice steady as my mind raced through the possibilities.
