Trump vows to sue Trevor Noah for savage Epstein joke while hosting the Grammys

Donald Trump issued a threat to comedian to Trevor Noah after comments he made about the president at the Grammys last night.

Comedian Trevor Noah hosted the Grammys on February 1, and throughout the night, he made several jabs at Donald Trump. However, it was one joke that seemed to really get under the president’s skin.

Before the award for Song of the Year, Noah made reference to Trump’s incessant demands for Greenland as well as his former relationship with disgraced pedophile and financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Noah said: “Song of the Year — that is a Grammy that every artist wants almost as much as Trump wants Greenland, which makes sense because Epstein’s island is gone, he needs a new one to hang out with Bill Clinton. »

Clinton has denied any knowledge of Epstein’s criminal activities despite knowing him prior to his death.Ghislaine Maxwell has claimed that Bill Clinton was a friend of hers, not of Epstein. She also denied that Clinton was involved in any of Epstein’s crimes.

Trump has also repeatedly denied any knowledge of Epstein’s crimes and has distanced himself from him.

All the same, this joke seemed to annoy Trump enough that he said he would ‘have fun’ with Noah by bringing him legal troubles.

In a furious response, Trump took to Truth Social and condemned the comedian, using many of his typical insults for those in the entertainment industry.

He said: “The Grammy Awards are the WORST, virtually unwatchable! CBS is lucky not to have this garbage litter their airwaves any longer. The host, Trevor Noah, whoever he may be, is almost as bad as Jimmy Kimmel at the Low Ratings Academy Awards.

“Noah said, INCORRECTLY about me, that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton spent time on Epstein Island. WRONG!!! I can’t speak for Bill, but I have never been to Epstein Island, nor anywhere close, and until tonight’s false and defamatory statement, have never been accused of being there, not even by the Fake News Media.

“Noah, a total loser, better get his facts straight, and get them straight fast. It looks like I’ll be sending my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless, dope of an M.C., and suing him for plenty$.

“Ask Little George Slopadopolus, and others, how that all worked out. Also ask CBS! Get ready Noah, I’m going to have some fun with you!”

LADbiblegroup has contacted Trevor Noah’s representatives for comment.

Trevor Noah has been slammed for making a ‘tasteless joke’ while hosting tonight’s prestigious Grammys Awards ceremony.

It’s the biggest night in music’s calendar, with the 67th Grammys show taking to the Crypto Arena in Los Angeles tonight (2 February) to showcase some of the best talent in the industry from around the world.

However, it’s rarely without controversy and now, South African comedian and TV host Trevor Noah has apparently hit a nerve among some viewers – and almost immediately in his opening monologue. The comedian was introducing Shakira when he said the star is ‘the greatest thing to come out of Colombia that isn’t a class A felony’.

The 40-year-old, who is known for his political satire, made the tongue-in-cheek joke after making another reference to immigration, neither of which have gone down particularly well with viewers.

Taking their outrage to Twitter, dozens flooded the social media platform with criticizm for the alleged offensive gag.

One person wrote: « We, the Colombians, are sick of being treated like criminals, » and tagged Trevor Noah to urge him to apologize.
The joke came mere moments after Noah already referenced ’20 million illegal immigrants’, stating: « [W]e are honoring the best in music as voted on by the 13,000 members of The Recording Academy – and 20 million illegal immigrants. »

Another outraged viewer wrote: « Trevor Noah already with an illegal immigrants joke and a Colombia joke in his opening monologue… This is going to be a LONGGGG night. »

Others said they even spotted some celebs in the audience that weren’t keen on the joke either, such as Doechii, who has won Best Rap Album – the third woman after Lauryn Hill and Cardi B to bag the award.
Fans said they saw Doechii ‘roll her eyes’ after the host referenced illegal migrants.

« Trevor Noah’s ‘illegal immigrant’ comment was in poor taste, » another Tweet read. « Doechii rolling her eyes is me. »

Others, meanwhile, have urged the celebrity host to ‘do better’.

New comments made by President Donald Trump about Alex Pretti, who was killed by federal agents last weekend, have sparked backlash.

Last Saturday’s (January 24) shooting of Pretti by Customs and Border Protection agents further amplified fury against immigration enforcement on the streets of Minneapolis and around the country.

Coming just weeks after mom Renée Nicole Good was fatally shot by an ICE officer while behind the wheel of her car, Pretti’s death has galvanized public opinion and Democrats against Trump’s nationwide immigration crackdown.

But a new video appearing to show Pretti lash out at an ICE vehicle and getting into a scuffle with masked agents in the days before his killing has seen Trump seemingly attempt to reshape the narrative about the 37-year-old who worked in a veterans’ hospital. After seeing the video from January 13, which has been confirmed as real by Pretti’s family, Trump attempted to argue that the ICU nurse’s ‘stock has gone way down’, in a Truth Social post that some have called ‘disgusting’.

The president said: « Agitator and, perhaps, insurrectionist, Alex Pretti’s stock has gone way down with the just released video of him screaming and spitting in the face of a very calm and under control ICE Officer, and then crazily kicking in a new and very expensive government vehicle, so hard and violent, in fact, that the taillight broke off in pieces.

« It was quite a display of abuse and anger, for all to see, crazed and out of control. The ICE Officer was calm and cool, not an easy thing to be under those circumstances! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. »

But while Trump seemingly attempted to reclaim the narrative, facing a potential government shutdown as Democrats consider withholding ICE funding, his Truth Social post only incensed some who were already furious. One X user pointed out: « He shows more empathy for a car than for a man who was killed by federal agents. It’s disgusting. »

Another added: « This is disturbing on multiple levels. A sitting president referring to a dead American citizen—shot by federal agents—as having his ‘stock gone way down’ because of protest footage from days earlier is dehumanizing and reckless. »

The video does appear to show Pretti kicking the tail light of a car and being wrestled by immigration officers, even at one point possibly showing his legally-owned firearm tucked into the back of his trousers.

However, unlike on January 24 when he was disarmed and then shot 10 times, none of the agents pulled their service weapons on him.

The attorney representing Pretti’s family, Steve Schleicher, said in a statement: « A week before Alex was gunned down in the street – despite posing no threat to anyone – he was violently assaulted by a group of ICE agents.

« Nothing that happened a full week before could possibly have justified Alex’s killing. »

The Department of Homeland Security has confirmed that it is reviewing the footage as it investigates the circumstances that led to Pretti’s fatal shooting.
