I took the document to a lawyer, hoping for some clarity. The office was sterile, the kind of place where secrets came to light. « This is quite the find, » the lawyer mused, adjusting their glasses as they read through the papers. « Your grandmother was indeed involved in a business deal, but it seems to have been a very personal one. » They pointed to a clause, « This section here, it refers to a care arrangement, likely financial support for someone. » My heart sank as the reality began to set in. « So, what does this mean for us now? » I asked, dreading the answer. « It means, » they replied, « that whoever sent that text, they knew your grandmother’s passing would affect this agreement. »
