Famous poets get a nod in her lyrics…
In the Lakes song, from the album Folklore, the lyrics “what are my words worth” are a reference to poet William Wordsworth, a romantic poet who lived in the Lake District. Wordsworth wrote the lyrical poem “I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud” which could fit just as well into this album’s tracklist. Beautiful!

Taylor’s go-to coffee order is a skinny caramel latte – yummy! Starbucks ran a special in 2021 when Red (Taylor’s Version) was released, with fans being able to order ‘Taylor’s Latte’ or ‘Taylor’s Version’ and baristas would make the caramel drink for them!

“Enchanted” is allegedly about Owl City band member Adam Young. Adam Young responded by releasing his own version of Enchanted with the lyrics “Taylor I was Enchanted to meet you”.
