In June 2023, a group of cavers entered a narrow cave near Dragon’s Tooth.
Deep inside the mountain, approximately 250 feet from the entrance, their headlamps illuminated a person sitting on a carefully arranged platform of blankets.
It was Chloe.
She was alive.
She was not critically underweight.
Her clothing was surprisingly clean.
And as the cavers directed their lights toward her face, Chloe did something none of them could explain.
She smiled.
She kept smiling.
And she did not blink.
