I typed one word.

Chapter 2: Whose Money You’ve Been Spending
Here is what Grant never understood, in all seven years.
Lockridge Works did not run on his judgment.
It ran on a twenty-four-million-dollar revolving line of credit — the money that made payroll, paid vendors, floated every deal between the day it closed and the day it paid.
And that line existed for exactly one reason: because I had personally guaranteed it.
Piedmont Union Bank had never lent to Grant’s brilliance.
They’d lent against my guarantee, backed by holdings Grant had never bothered to learn the size of, because a man who believes he is the source of all the money never audits the woman pouring it in.
The word I sent authorized my attorney to file the formal withdrawal of that guarantee, effective under its own terms.
