She glanced toward the groom’s room.
“What are you going to do?”
I looked down at the flowers I’d arranged that morning.
“I’m going to let him get married.”
Patricia blinked.
“What?”
“Not because he deserves to. Because I want him standing in front of every person who matters to him when the truth comes out.”
For a moment, she looked uncertain. Then she nodded slowly.
“I’ll help you.”
We agreed on a plan.
