“Onion. Pot. Lid. Spoon. Stir.”
“You forgot salt,” I pointed out.
“Not on the list.”
Then he stood before me, arms folded. “Be honest.”
I tried a spoonful.
“Needs salt.”
He snatched the bowl from my hands. “Get out of my house.”
Technically, it was my house. Neither of us mentioned that.
