Rosa waited until Oliver fell asleep.
Then she carefully examined the pillow.
There was a strange bulge hidden beneath the silk cover.
She opened the seam just enough to see inside.
Her face immediately changed.
There was a small recording device hidden inside the pillow.
But that wasn’t the worst part.
The device had been recording every night.
Rosa pressed play.
At first, there was only silence.
Then she heard Oliver crying.
And then…
Daniel’s voice.
But the recording revealed something Rosa never expected.
Someone had been entering Oliver’s room after Daniel left.
And Oliver had been screaming because he was trying to warn his father.
